Human-computer Interaction
Creative Technologist

Hi!
I am currently a Master’s student at Carnegie Mellon University, Entertainment Technology Center. Focusing on how computational design and HCI methodologies can create novel sensory experiences and also, reduce the fabrication complexity of hybrid interactive systems.
My long-term goal is to develop systematic methods for designing body-surface interfaces and multisensory interactive materials that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and comfort in human– computer interaction while enabling new forms of interaction in domains such as AR, wearables, and robotics. Now I am conducting an independent research project under the mentorship of Professor Scott Hudson and Dr. Lea Albaugh.
Previously, I was a visiting research student in the HCI-Engineering Group at CSAIL, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an HCI research intern at the Future Laboratory, Tsinghua University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from Soochow University (Suzhou, China), where I was instructed by Professor Zhijuan Pan at the National Engineering Laboratory for Modern Silk, China.
